Built in 1999, Charles A. Cannon Jr. Memorial Hospital provides a comprehensive range of healthcare services and advanced technology. Located in Linville, the 25-bed critical access hospital offers a range of care from family practice and primary care to general surgery, cardiology, ophthalmology and ENT services. Other specialties include inpatient behavioral health and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation.
Cannon makes full range of diagnostic services available to our community, including MRI, CT Scan, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Bone Densitometry and laboratory studies. Other services include out-patient behavioral care, physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy
Cannon Memorial Hospital is a member of the Appalachian Regional Healthcare System along with Watauga Medical Center in Boone and The Foley Center at Chestnut Ridge in Blowing Rock. Additional facilities include the Seby B. Jones Cancer Center, Paul H. Broyhill Wellness Center, Appalachian Regional Orthopedics & Sports Medicine and The Cardiology Center.
