About Us

The Ski Area
With the summit of Beech Mountain Ski Resort being at 5,506 feet in elevation, Ski Beech remains the highest ski area East of the Rockies. Always a favorite with families, Ski Beech offers skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing. There are 15 slopes, 3 beginner runs, 7 intermediate, and 4 advanced runs. Ski Beech has a High Speed Chairlift that takes 5 people. The snow-making has improved greatly with up-to-date snow guns. The ski school teaches folks who have never skied before as well as offering analysis of expert technique.

Snow Tubing
Ski Beech has certain requirements for the general public to go tubing, but it is a fabulous and thrilling activity.

Mountain Biking in Summer
The terrain offers something for every rider, from the beginner to experienced. Beginner trails offer a smooth introduction for the novice rider, with friendly and manageable features. Our advanced terrain is steep and technical, with lots of rock, tricky corners and technical wood descents.

Enjoy panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains by taking a scenic lift ride at Beech Mountain Resort.
