About Us

As the stone work and granite and quartz countertop business grew, Classic Stone Work's owners, Eric and Debbie Guinn, decided to relocate their business and employees to a more permanent location, which brought them to Linville, N.C. The continued growth allowed for more employees and an expanded service area to include Banner Elk, Linville, Linville Falls, Elk Park, Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain, Boone, & Blowing Rock, North Carolina

Classic Stone Works, located in Newland, North Carolina began in 2007 as Classic Tile and Marble with only two employees. We were primarily a tile installation business. As the business grew, additional office space and personnel were needed. With strengthening ties to the construction industry, the request for natural stone countertops began. With no fabrication shops in our area at the time, we were traveling to Asheville to fulfill our clients' needs.
After a few years, the decision was made to purchase our own fabrication equipment and set up shop in Banner Elk, N.C. With this addition, came the need for more employees and a name change; Classic Tile and Marble became Classic Stone Works, Inc.

As of 2009, Classic Stone Works, Inc. has a 15,000 square foot showroom and fabrication shop, the largest slab yard in the High Country and we employ thirty wonderful people. Our customer service is top priority and we greatly appreciate those who have made our business a success!
