The Crossnore School is a private, non-profit children's home and charter school serving children from families in crisis. Founded in 1913, the school's special niche today is keeping sibling groups together who might otherwise be scattered in the traditional foster care system. The Crossnore School operates The Blair Fraley Sales Store, a thrift shop, Crossnore Weavers, A Working Museum, and Miracle Grounds Coffee Shop (a vocational classroom) to support it's mission; all are located on campus . In addition, we operate The Crossnore Gallery, where the sale of fine art helps regional artists help Crossnore Children.
