About Us

Snowtubing - 1 Hour 45 Minutes - Ages 3+

Hawksnest Snow Tubing offers affordable fun for the whole family! Located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina between Boone and Banner Elk, NC, our snow tubing features four different tubing areas with up to 30 lanes of fun!

How Snow Tubing Works

Each participant needs their own individual ticket to enter our tubing park. Participants are responsible for breaking and stopping themselves at the bottom of our tubing runs by dragging their feet and digging their heels into the snow. After a participant has successfully made it to the bottom of the tubing run, we have three conveyor belt-style lifts or “magic carpets” that run alongside our tubing lanes to carry you back to the top. While small children are required to ride in an adult’s lap or have the option to link their tubes together, multiple-person tube trains are subject to current conditions. When conditions are exceedingly cold and icy, we do not allow participants to link multiple tubes together due to safety concerns.

Ziplines - Feel the Thrill of a Lifetime

Located just outside of beautiful Boone, NC, there’s no better way to adventure in the NC Mountains than here with us at Hawksnest! Hawksnest Zipline offers 2 full tour options, stretching over 4 miles worth of ziplining fun, featuring 20 ziplines in total. Both tour options include their own MEGA ZIPS – ziplines over 1500 feet long!

Enjoy heights of over 200 feet and speeds up to 40 mph while ziplining over the treetops, through the canopy, and over lakes and creeks.
