Troy A. Hoover, DDS & Joan Schmitt, DDS, MSD

Dr. Troy Hoover is a graduate of LSU Dental School, New Orleans, Louisiana and the L.D. Pankey Instutute for advanced dental education in Key Biscayne, Florida. He has more than 25 years of valuable experience providing and follows in the footsteps of his father who practiced dentistry for 43 years. Dr. Joan C. Schmitt was a dental assistant for six years when her desire to provide the best oral health care possible led her to dental school, followed by years of additional education as a periodontal specialist. Dr. Schmitt has 35 years of experience and has been a member of the Tennessee Board of Dentistry.

Dr. Hoover and Dr. Schmitt are both residents of Avery County and have a shared philosophy --- they believe each person deserves access to compassionate and affordable high quality dental care.
