New owners, same great wine! Come discover the first and only winery in Johnson County, Tennessee. Located in the old Big Dry Run Schoolhouse, Watauga Lake Winery is full of history and has a very special story to tell. The five room schoolhouse offers a beautiful tasting room, an event center that can comfortably seat 100 guests, a full caterer's kitchen, and the gymnasium where all wine production takes place. Come experience the taste of our unique mountain wines produced from the fruit grown at our very own Villa Nove Vineyards. We have daily deli specials, as well as Flatbread Fridays and Sangria Saturdays! If you’re looking to enjoy the scenery, we have a large outdoor space where friends and families can sit back, sip, and take it all in!
