ADVENTURE AWAITS AT THE FUNNEST ATTRACTION IN THE HIGH COUNTRY!

Family owned and operated, WRAC is the first alpine coaster in North Carolina! The track’s length of 3,160 feet includes three circular loops (you do not go upside down), a series of waves and several twists and turns for plenty of excitement. Fun for all ages, this thrill ride reaches up to 27 mph at the control of the rider.

Wilderness Run currently has TWO attractions for guest to partake in year round. The Alpine Coaster is open year round and 7 days a week, offers a thrilling experience for all ages. Our newest attraction the Adventure Course, offers a unique climbing experience for those that dare to climb thru the 28 obstacles. On property we also have a gift shop full of products from small and local businesses with unique gifts for all.

W.R.A.C. also features the most delicious coffee! The coffee shop is located on the lower-level deck at the Alpine Coaster. Swing by and grab a cup of our very own roast from Bean Works.

Do I need a reservation?

We call it a Registered Check-In Time. A check-in time guarantees you a spot in line. Please note, that there will be an expected wait once in line. We do take walk-ins if we are not at capacity, but we can never guarantee we can fit you in. You can register for a check-in at any time and payment is due upon arrival.
