About Us
Blowing Rock Art & History Museum (BRAHM)
Admission to the museum is always FREE. Programming fees vary and are listed on each Calendar Event.
BRAHM is an art and history museum nestled in the mountains of North Carolina. Open to the public in 2011, it serves as a community cultural center with a focus on engagement, enrichment and education for all who visit.
At BRAHM we build relationships between the visitors to the museum and artists of great talent and renown, to the voices of our regions rich heritage, and to our community. We connect people to the history and heritage of the Southern Appalachian region and enrich their appreciation of this region. BRAHM allows intimate exploration of both art and history to those who visit our museum.
BRAHM is a place to catch your breath from the clamor of the world at large. It is a place to gather, reflect, rest, and learn. It is a place of beauty but, also a place that invites you to look deeper, to challenge yourself, to question and ask questions, and to grow. Great care is given to each exhibit and program, to give visitors the opportunity for thought, conversation, and engagement.
Our doors are open to all. We invite you to visit BRAHM and we invite you to experience BRAHM. We look forward to sharing our museum with you.
