Crossnore Communities for Children

About Us

Crossnore Communities for Children is a 100-plus year old child welfare organization with three locations serving western North Carolina. Crossnore programs include foster care in campus cottages and community-based foster homes, outpatient therapy, and educational services. Crossnore also operates Blair Fraley Sales Store, a thrift store; Crossnore Weavers, a working museum preserving the art of Appalachian handweaving; Crossnore Fine Arts Gallery, where the sale of fine art from regional artists help support our children; and MIracle Grounds Coffee Shop & Cafe, a vocational classroom. Net proceeds from all businesses support the mission of Crossnore Communities for Children.
