About Us
Fifth Third traces its origins to the Bank of the Ohio Valley, which opened its doors in Cincinnati in 1858. In 1871, that bank was purchased by the Third National Bank. With the turn of the century came the union of the Third National Bank and the Fifth National Bank, and eventually the organization became known as ''Fifth Third Bank.''
Today, Fifth Third operates 18 affiliates in 12 states with more than 1300 full-service locations including North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia and Florida. We are a full service banking facility. We also have the ability to issue a variety of gift cards and are a Western Union money transfer center. Fifth Third Bank is a member of the FDIC and an Equal Housing Lender.
We are proud to say we are the ''Curious Bank''! Come let us get to know you.
