About Us
Mica Gallery is an artist-run gallery of fine art and contemporary craft located at 37 N. Mitchell Avenue in Bakersville, NC. Established in 2012, Mica aspires to contribute to the cultural, educational, and economic development of the community. At Mica, you will find the work of its six member artists as well as 40+ invited artists from WNC. The gallery will fulfill your love of the handmade and artful living! Mica is open January through March on Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00-3:00 and by appointment. To arrange a visit on unscheduled days, contact Speckled Dog Pottery by text or phone at 828-434-0353. From April through December the gallery is open daily (closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas, and New Year?s Eve). The hours are Mondays-Saturdays from 11:00am to 5:00pm and Sundays from noon-5:00pm.
