Root Down Hair Studio is a family-owned and operated full service hair salon and gallery. Our name was born from love of hair, nature, and our intention to place our family roots in the area. At Root Down we do everything with meraki. This is a word that modern Greeks often use to describe what happens when you leave a piece of yourself (your soul, creativity, or love) in your work. Root Down Hair Studio intends to let that love show in the hair we create. We showcase and promote the area’s finest artisans and craftsmen. We've set forth an initiative to provide superior hair services and to do so by leaving as small of a carbon footprint as possible on our planet. We support boutique brands that provide superior performance, repurpose, and pay attention to their carbon footprint as well. When science and nature come together something magical happens!
